Management Theory
My management theory is rooted in the ideas of Alfie Kohn. I rely mainly on procedures, motivators, and curiosity.

Name: Alfie Kohn
Description: Kohn believes that cooperation is directly related to curiosity in the classroom- if a student is fully engaged in learning there will be no need to misbehave or break the rules. Kohn also criticizes the use of competition in the classroom. For this reason, the majority of my extrinsic motivators are based on whole class achievement, as apposed to competition.
Quote:"In cooperative setting, every person’s role is important and valued."
